There is no doubt that science and technology drive the modern
world. Access to the right expertise and technology
is vital for successfully addressing many issues.

• The Chamber acts as a matchmaker that pairs governments, corporations and other entities that have specific knowledge-based or technology-based needs with internationally recognized corporate, scientific, or
  engineering experts who are leaders in their field that can provide cutting-edge solutions. For example, Alhambra previously worked with countries to assemble a scientific team to help these nations deal with their Red Tide
  (harmful algal bloom) problems. We are also exploring
  desalination and brine disposal solutions for interested nations.
• Alhambra can also work with governments to help build up a scientific/technical sector of their economy or increase domestic capabilities in a field. The Chamber has worked with several nations on issues relating to enhancing their domestic pharmaceutical capacities.
