Communication Services

The Alhambra-US Chamber of Commerce has more than a decade of experience in both private and public sector communications and media relations. We have a proven record of successful cross cultural communication between the West and Muslim-majority nations.

The Chamber offers three levels of customizable communications/media services to our members and clients:

  • On an ad hoc basis, the Chamber can advise our members and clients on communications and media strategy as well as draft press releases or other related media materials.
  • Alhambra will handle publicity for conferences, VIP visits or other events. The Chamber will work with members to produce effective and compelling press releases, create targeted lists of media contacts, handle distribution of press releases, and facilitate interviews with members of the media.
  • Alhambra will assist each of its members, including their communications staff, with all their media needs. The chamber will act as your organizations’ media liaison in a challenging media environment.

Speechwriting

The Alhambra leadership team includes a professional speechwriter with more than a decade of experience in speech writing for North Americans who want to address OIC audiences as well as speech writing for individuals from Muslim-majority nations who want to address North American audiences. Using a professional speechwriter familiar with both US and Muslim audiences offers members several advantages:

  • Communicating key points successfully to the audience across cultural boundaries.
  • Creating the desired image of the speaker and his/her organization in the minds of the audience.
  • Ensuring the audience remembers the speaker, organization and message.

Media Training

The Alhambra-US Chamber also provides customized media relations training for businesses, government entities, and non-profit organizations. This training empowers members to project their organizations’ message and enables our staff to develop competencies in the following:

  • Communicating effectively with reporters
  • Communicating with print, broadcast and electronic media
  • Building a media list that meets the needs of your organization
  • Answering tough questions
  • Writing compelling press releases.
  • Utilizing social media

Our team provides general media training useful throughout the world. In response to a member’s needs, we can also provide targeted instruction geared towards the specific media conditions in the United States or specific regions of the Muslim world.
