WASHINGTON, DC – The 2011 Higher Education and Embassy Showcase, held at the Embassy of Malaysia, provided a forum for universities and embassies to interact and share information. It was a huge success, with over 250 people in attendance, including embassies and educational institutions along with representatives from the recruiting community. Speakers included international entrepreneurs, US State Department employees, and esteemed individuals from major American and Malaysian universities. Topics ranged from sponsored students in the US and international recruitment to increasing the number of women in Muslim nations pursuing degrees. The Alhambra US Chamber has already received multiple requests from other embassies to hold the event again next year.
